What Happens in a Reiki Session?

During a Reiki treatment a Reiki attuned practitioner acts as a conduit between you and the source of the universal life force energy. This energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to you.  Reiki is most commonly performed on a massage table.  You will remained fully clothed and may have a blanket for your comfort.  The practitioner will either gently lay hands on you in specific and/or intuitive areas, or may work a few inches above your body.  It is your body that ultimately determines where and how much energy to receive.  Reiki can do no harm and works only for your highest good.

What are "The Bars?"

How Long does the Effect of a Bars Session Last?

Once you have your Bars done, the Bars “run” or continue to release stuck energy forever. Every time you have it done after that, the effect becomes more dynamic. The most dramatic effects tend to be noticed within 3-4 weeks of the session.

How Often Should You Have Your Bars Run?

This is entirely up to you. How good would you like to feel? How easy would you like your life to be?

This article from Healthline reviews 12 health benefits of meditation.

The Bars are a series of 32 points on the head, which when lightly touched release old energies stuck in the brain and the body, allowing for tremendous and easy change.  These “old energies” can be thoughts, feelings, ideas, beliefs, judgments, and even coping mechanisms from this and other lifetimes that no longer serve us. The Bars takes all these old energies stored in the brain and releases them similar to de-fragging your computer.
